To dream the impossible dream

在音乐剧《梦幻骑士》的故事里，一位中世纪的骑士遇到了一个妓女，她接触的所有的人都认定她已经无药可救。
    但是这位诗人般的骑士在她身上看到了美好和可爱的东西。他看到了她的美德，并且一次次予以肯定。他还给她取了个新名字——杜尔西内亚，新名字象征着新面貌。
    起初，她执意抗拒，昔日的经历已在她身上刻下难以磨灭的痕迹，她认为他是个愚蠢透顶的妄想狂。但是，他始终坚持，不断给予着无条件的爱。这种爱逐渐穿透了 她的外壳，接触到了她真正的天性和潜能。她开始做出回应，逐渐改变自己的生活方式。她相信并开始遵循新的行为模式，所有的人都为她这一变化感到惊讶。
    后来，当她又要恢复到旧有的行为模式时，生命垂危的骑士把她叫到病床前，唱起了那曲动人的《无法实现的梦》（The impossible Dream）。他凝视她的双眼，轻声的说：“永远不要忘记，你是杜尔西内亚。”
